Art Imitating Life is a women-owned company that is dedicated to the empowerment of all types of women. We stand for the rights of all people. This is a place where women artists can come together to promote their art on wearable and collectable items.

Each collection will feature 1-2 artists and have a limited-run until the collection sells out. We support women of all creeds, colors, religions, orientations, and economic backgrounds. Our motto has always been sweet and sassy.

It all began with an idea. Art Imitating Life was created by the need to become more empowered. Lulu and Mkat experienced bullying in the workplace. Like the Phoenix, rising from the ashes, they joined forces to create a new business model for women.

Lulu and Mkat have a desire to bring up and coming artists to be able to promote their work in a supportive and creative environment. They want to encourage women artists to always have an opportunity to be heard, seen, and recognized for their talents when all other doors have been shut to them. We are a company that says yes to women and their fierce power.

We welcome all submissions from any woman. Trans, queer, straight, religious, atheist, non denominational, big, small, inbetween, working, nonworking, people of all colors, styles, and life styles.
